Camp, Karaoke and Nordic dips.

I hope the videos will load, but if not I have had a fantastic week. With the camp (which was entirely run by us) to the karaoke night, to the Nordic dip I had today, it was all-round amazing. I have had a ton of new experiences this week, and 99% of them being positive. I whittled a wooden crocodile at camp, had a lot of time in nature, sang some songs until the early  hours of the morning, and finished it of with a dive into the almost freezing sea today. I am very much enjoying myself here!

The second week of school

Hey all, it has already been my second week here. This week has been a massive improvement in the education. We went outside for cooking, went out foraging, and started planning our camp for next week. This was a little hard for me because the group was way too chaotic with planning the stuff. Anyways, it didn't really matter anyway. I had a small fever this week, but luckily I didn't miss any school because the teacher was sick too. I will see what the weekend brings.

Snow, Cows and a Party

The weekend was a bit weird. I have done stuff that I haven't done in a very long time. I went on a walk with a Belgian friend, I made a snowman, and I went to a party. I all in all had a very nice weekend. I especially liked the party. Normally I don't like these, but for some reason the people I was with made it interesting and fun. I should do this more often. I stayed up way to late, drank some alcohol (Yuck) and even went to a weird afterparty in a bike shed. I was so happy, and I am still giddy from the experience. Today the preparation for our camp starts, and I am looking forward to it a lot. This is why I chose the study. We have already been promised a hike and fire making, lovely.

First week of school

The first week of school was a wild one. There was a lot of things that I did not expect. The people are lovely, but I was just a bit taken aback with the material. All things considering, I had a very nice week. I am very tired though, as interacting with so many new people is taking a small toll on me. Not one that I can not deal with, but I just need a bit of time for myself as well. Yesterday, I had someone come over for dinner, and we made some pasta together. The other two pictures are projects that I had to make to show which items are special to me. One of those being Opa Noud's ring for obvious reasons, and the other being one of my plushies. I chose that one because I like that it is different and weird, just like me sometimes. I don't have many plans for the weekend, but I am sure that will change in due time. Our group is very active and always has something going on.

First days of school

Image
I had my first two days at school today. Although the start was wholly something I did not expect, I did meet some cool people. My first two days involved a lot of music. I don't mind music at all, but I thought this course was more about nature then about that kind of stuff. Be as it may, I did have fun with my fellow students and I have met some wonderful people. I am trying my hardest to be social and the fruits of my labour are paying off. The picture is of one of my classmates Mira and I standing at a roof garden. Also Hi Mira if you are reading this.

Today I went into the city. I had to finish my CPR registration because for some reason Denmark really likes bureaucracy. It was actually no bother, and it was over quite quickly. I also had my first bike trip today. Downhill was a lot of fun, and it was over quite quickly. I also went on a trip to the botanical gardens today. Due to time pressure, I forgot to make pictures :(. The trip was for a international people to start knowing each other. I met a lot of Belgians, a Hungarian, two Canadians and some Italians. I had a lot of fun with them and we went out for a drink after the gardens. I actually walked to the top of the bar we were drinking at with some these people, and that is were I made the picture.  I would like to keep doing stuff like this, but I do want it to be less rushed. The trip back was wet, I had to bike 7 KM uphill on roads were I had never cycled before. In all honestly, it wasn't bad and I had a nice chat with the people I met. All in all I had a very ...

Today was a good day, I went to a beach with chalk cliffs, had dinner with my parents and said goodbye to them. I have met new people that are coincidentally also in the same minor that I chose, so it is very nice to already meet new people in my dorm that I will see at school too.  I was feeling nauseous when I first came here, but that has mostly passed. I don't do well with these really big changes, but I feel like this is going to be fine. This is different from other things. I had a great last day with my parents, I found some cool rocks, and played some games with my dorm mates. There is a bond growing between us, and that is great.

After a long 8 hour trip, I have arrived at my dorm in Aarhus. I was a little stressed during the drive, because I have never lived on my own before. Now I am doing that in another country. Luckily it wasn't all that bad. My parents brought me here, and after I put my stuff in my room I was left alone. During this time I met a few of my dorm mates and we hit it off. I had a nice chat with them about a mutual hobby. School won't start for a couple of days so I can still figure out everything on my own pace. Attached is my room and my view outside.
